2023-2024 Budget Hearing
A public meeting of the Union City Council will be held on June 12th, 2023 at 7:15 pm at the Leonard Almquist City Council Chambers, Union, Oregon. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2023 as approved by the City of Union Budget Committee. A copy of the budget may be inspected or obtained at Union City Hall, between the hours of 10 am and 5pm(Monday-Thursday) or online at www.cityofunion.com. This budget is for an annual budget period from July 1, 2023 -June 30, 2024. This budget was prepared on a basis of accounting that is the same as the preceding year.
Easter Egg Hunt
Easter Egg Hunt! Open to all ages, 0-100+. Saturday, April 8th, 2023 @ the City Park. Start time is 10:00 am and will begin at the gazebo. Youngest kids will go first, with separate areas for each group. Sponsored by The Carpenter’s House Church.
Notice of Budget Committee Meetings
NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING
Public meetings of the Budget Committee for the City of Union, Union County, Oregon for the Fiscal Year of July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024, will be held at the Leonard Almquist Council Chambers in Union. The meetings will be held April 25, 26, and 27, 2023 starting at 6:00pm each night. Public comment on the budget will be held April 27, 2023, at 6:00pm, while the other dates are reserved for budget committee deliberations but open for public observation.
A copy of the budget documents may be inspected or obtained, for cost, at Union City Hall on or after April 20, 2023, during business hours of 10:00am – 5:00pm Monday-Thursday.

Union Grassroots Festival & Car Show

Main Street Union
Main Street Union is a non-profit organization aimed at improving downtown Union to benefit it’s residents, local businesses and tourists, so they can experience our beautiful town. Main Street Union meets the second Thursday of every month at 7pm. Our meeting location is currently Walt’s pharmacy on Main St. All are welcome to sit in on the meeting and we are always looking for new members and ideas.
City Council Opening
There is an opening on the City Council to finish out a 2 year term. We will be accepting applications until January 31, 2023. You can pick up an application at City Hall.
