The City of Union has been working diligently on its Charter over the past year. We are preparing it for the ballot in November and need your comments. (View below) You may also get a copy emailed or printed at City Hall by calling 541-562-5197. Please take a read, comment or ask questions. The last public hearing on the charter will be July 27, 2020. This is a very important document for your City Council as it lays out the general guidance in which the City can elect it’s members and guidelines toward what major decisions must come before the voters. Students must be entering 11th grade and be available to attend monthly City Council Meetings. City Council meetings are held monthly, on the second Monday, at 6:00pm and the 4th Monday at 6:00pm.
The City will grant a $500 scholarship to the college the student will be attending at the completion of a successful term.
