The Union County Museum is dedicated to preserving the cultural and natural history of the region.

The museum consistently receives wonderful comments from people visiting, as it is filled with beautifully arranged exhibits and a wealth of interesting information and artifacts pertaining to the history of our area. People also come to the museum to research family history and explore the archives of photos. One never knows the connection they might find in this treasure trove.

Visit the friendly shops, explore the surrounding countryside, or play 18 holes of golf at the Buffalo Peak Golf Course in Union.

Exit Interstate 84 at La Grande or North Powder.

The museum is open by the efforts of volunteers and depends upon memberships, donations and admission fees for it’s continued operation.
